Paris Tour night, Lyon beginning

I am back on the blog so here is what I have already posted on My Family...Hello all, well! well! isn't technology wonderful started my blog for Pat and Rods Great Adventure so....will start up here should have done that in the first place honestly, apparently something must have been bad because they rolled back anything that was posted and so there went my last two blogs...I thought something was wrong as it seemed a bit shaky!! So well any way on the 11Th we had our big event booked It started out at 6pm with our driver Olivia' picking us up on time at our Hotel, we then went to some ritzy er Hotel to pick up 6 more Brazilians who were of course late and had their noes quite far up in the air....Olivia' did his best tour guide and he also translated to Spanish for them as they said they spoke Spanish he said there were many words he didn't understand that were not Spanish he said they were Portuguese ...Anyway I said to him guess there won't be any conversation going on at our table, and he replied Oh! They won't be sitting with you ...Good I said...we all laughed. So we were all taken to the the Seine river where our cruise was to start and finish given instruction on that and our tickets, then we all walked the short distance to the entrance to the Eiffel Tower we waited in a short line until Olivia' picked up our tickets...he gave them to us and off we went to the Elevator to  Restaurants at Eiffel Tower very attentive wait staff, took very good care of us, sat us at a table away from the Brazilians, and with a Family from the US and a couple that sat next to us who were from Belgium Dianne the mother and James her son...they were just like the Preiner Clan...friendly and we exchanged stories had some great laughs and exchanged e-mail addresses, along with invites to come to Belgium for a holiday and they would put on a big BBQ for us with all the Belgium Chocolate and beer we could consume...Ha! we gave them a similar offer :) Then we were off to get on our cruise boat for our trip down the Seine.A short wait and we were loaded on the boat was full, we sat at the very back with a lovely couple from Ireland Carolyn and Kerrin just such nice people more e-mail exchanges ...Ha! the cruise was really nice relaxing..and when we got back near the Eiffel Tower it was all lit up beautiful. Olivia' was there to pick us up also the Brazilians and we were delivered to the Moulin Rouge ...Seated with a couple just married from Sydney Australia...also very sweet people. That show was so amazing, the dancers/ singers were some of the best the routines were very polished and perfect.  The bare breast's were the best I have ever seen Ha! I was quite jealous Ha! We had three bottles of Champagne at our table and drank them all...well some was accidentally spilled all over me by the nice Australian man...he felt so bad and I kept saying its only a bit of Champagne "No Worries" he kept pulling money out of his pocket wanting to by me another keepsake Book that we had bought Ha! it dried out just like me by the end of the night...around 1:30. We were then picked up and of had to wait for the Brazilians Ha! Home by just after 2....Thursday we got up late 7am me and Rod 8am we headed to the Starbucks for a large coffee, then to a Local Restaurant for breakfast ..we both had amazing omelette with ham, cheese and 3 kinds of mushrooms...yummy! served with orange juice and fresh baguette. Went back to our Hotel finished packing and hopped in a cab to the TVG Station...2 hrs later in the much friendlier Lyon ...Picked up by Sebastien and delivered to La Tour, with a tour on the way very nice man Very! Nice! Stephanie' the owner of our tower accommodation met us he and Sebastian are good friends ...So we have a elevator to the 4Th floor, then stairs curved ones made of stone just like in the castles ...27 from the bedroom to the Living/kitchen on the very top with the most amazing views of Lyon from any of the I think 17 windows...Walking all the stairs should help to counteract the eating of food and drinking of wine and oh my the desserts.. :) We went for a short walk across the bridge over the Saone and picked up a few things for breakfast and supper ..Stopping at the Hotel De Ville and Fountain Bartholdi ..another short walk after dinner and then to bed...This morning after coffee and breakfast we headed off to Basilique Notre-Dame De Fourier just like we left it two years ago and of course the Museum  Roman Gallo we spent almost the whole day at both places and of course we stopped for lunch...it was amazing ha! my favorite word that..they spoke not one work of English but we managed with a lot of laughs on both sides...then a bit of shopping and home to our Tower for a while..Oh! Yes met two American men, Tampa Bay Florida and they had been to Normandy and Paris I told the I didn't think the people in our area of Paris were very friendly he said next time stay in the Bastille Area they love Canadians there..Rod is having a nap. I am blogging and downloading pictures.
