Royal Yacht Brittania and Connongate Kirk Church and gravyard

Some beautifully re-done buildings these were condos...Eninburgh is full of Old buildings

We walked to the Royal Yacht Britannia ...it was much longer a walk then I thought took us about 80 mins oh! my aching feet, lots to see along the way

My lunch in the Tea Room...Cup of Cullen Skink (note the logo on the cup)Lovely sandwich Scottish Cheese with chutney and fat fries with garlic mayo and of course a cool Beer

And first one of these...we had a great time looking around...and the meal was delicious

Beautiful Blue inside, the Lady told us Princess Margret's daughter is going to be married there

Just out side the Church leading to the grave yard that is a old as the church which was built in1574 (I think)

The graveyard is really a beautiful place I found a pretty blue marble in the grass

Ann Marie and Rod carrying home the fixings for supper from Teso Grocery Store just through a close down some stairs and there we are fresh meat, lovely fresh vegetables, fresh bread and beer and wine

  1. Gee the first thing I noticed was how small the Queen's room was. Somehow I thought it would be very luxurious and it is really spartan. I am impressed. It all looked very comfortable though.All that history is just so exciting to be around..loved the pictures sister.

  3. I know Judy that's exactly what I thought, I could have curled up quite nicely in her little bed..Yes Miss M. it certinly was :)
